Dear Respected Recipients,
Please permit me to share with you, a story that will make you happy! - We completed our 59th major unity and Integration event involving Youth , our 9th Unity Camp.
It will move you to tears to see youth from North and South who did not even want to talk to each other, once again, as has happened every single time in the past, hugging each other and crying at the time of parting. Listening to speeches made asking for unity at camp, to be seen across Sri Lanka -- is a small, but meaningful effort, in our fight to build up and foster unity and integration in Sri Lanka.
On this Camp, our Special Guest Speaker was Mrs Deemathi Periyapperuma, Superintendent of Police. She herself has brought pride to Sri Lanka, as a World Award Winner for Sri Lanka, through her outstanding professional work. Her home truths presented to youth the age of her own son, was very well received.
Unity Mission Trust also focuses on values, discipline and on the dangers of addiction to alcohol, drugs and pornography and we educate on sexual abuse and prevention thereof.
The Candle Ceremony is a unique pledge taken to foster unity and build bridges of friendship and understanding across Sri Lanka.

This year, the Best Campers were Harithi Nandasena ( Colombo) and Balakrishnan Lojan ( Vavuniya).
Best Group Leaders ( those seen in red Tshirts in camp photos) - Dhanushka Udaya Kumar ( Ambalangoda) and Maduja Abeysundera( Poramadulla). Outstanding Camper Awards - Fathima Zaima ( Galle ); Wishmi Wickremasinghe ( Ratnapura); Dulinika Bulumulla ( Colombo); Kavindra Senarathna ( Colombo ); Thiruchelvam Sangavi ( Killinochchi) and Maheshi Nonis ( Matara).

THANK YOU for your prayers and financial support ! - we cannot do this without funding and the encouragement given by many of you! A very very grateful Thank you to our Corporate Partners who BELIEVE in Unity and Integration and support us - Singer Sri Lanka, our Lead Sponsor; Peoples Bank, Nestle Lanka and MAS Active our long term Partners; Commercial Bank; Iron One Technologies; DFCC ; UniLever Ceylon; Premium Stationers ; Wilson Trading and many of you, the recipients of this mail, who have shared what you can give to us ! We are very grateful.

We NEED Partners in this work being done for the future generations, to take our Beloved Sri Lanka forward, united and strong with youth firmly believing that they are all equally valuable sons and daughters of ONE NATION. ONE SRI LANKA!
