Just received the sad news that another senior member of the Centenary Group Ranjit Jayanetti passed away peacefully last night. He had been working on his computer and collapsed. By the time the emergency ambulance service arrived he had already breathed his last.

He had wanted a private funeral within 24 hours but his wife Shanthi is awaiting the arrival of 3 of their children from abroad and so the cremation is fixed for Thursday morning at the Kohuwela Cemetery.

His remains will be brought to their residence on Wednesday morning.
