Greetings to all you old Royalists & Thomians – all or some of you may be interested to know that the scorecards for your big matches are now on the internet. Or rather, scorecards for the first 100 games which were featured in a souvenir book. Scorecards for the more recent games played - in the last 10-15 years during the internet era, were already featured. Links below:-

They are in the process of linking names of known players to the main player ID database, and they hope to do the same with the unknowns, once they get more information on them.

You may know that my father (BR Heyn of course), played in the 1930 & 1931 big matches, but not that my grandfather (Gerald Heyn) played in the 1891 match. Not quite sure what he was doing in the team as he batted at number 10 & did not bowl. Maybe he kept wickets – or perhaps they were short of players and roped him in!

My brother and I ended up at SPC through an odd quirk of fate, but that’s another story.

Scorecards for the Josephian-Peterite & Ananda-Nalanda games will follow – they are in the process of doing the Joe-Pete games at the moment. Links below if interested :-
